1080 Back in 1992 Midget and Sprint Car driver George Wilkins had an idea to produce a TV program that featured Indiana grass roots racing. Nationally known TV commentator, the late, Larry Nuber was the host, National Speed Sport News writer and author Dave Argabright and Wilkins were the field reporters. These three along with speedway announcer Howdy Bell brought this long awaited idea to life. The program only lasted 8 episodes on cable TV, due to the lack of financial backing, but what you now get to see is a great deal of racing history.

This DVD contains shows #6 and #8 and feature interviews with some of the greats; Bob Kinser, Kenny Irwin, long time car owner Paul Hazen, Joe Roush and Alan Barr to name a few. Larry Nuber sits down and has a long in-depth discussion with Robbie Stanley. He also talks on-set with Critter Malone and Andy Pierce as well as Ralphie “The Racer” Lagori. Highlights and results are shown from Putnamville, Kokomo, Winchester and the Indianapolis Speedrome and much, much more in this, 2 half hour editions of Hoosier Motor Racing Update, shows #6 and#8.
